HSBC Pet Insurance
Pet insurance web application in collaboration with
HSBC, Norwich Union and Agria Pet Insurance.
Agria Pet Insurance, the largest provider of pet insurance in
Scandinavia, now provides specialist insurance for the UK pet
insurance market, underwritten by Norwich Union. As well as
direct-to-consumer products, Agria also provides 'white label'
insurance applications and policy administration services to other
companies and financial institutions.
The Challenge
To provide an easy to use, fully content managed, mulit-lingual
website. that allowed Barclay to keep their product listings
up-to-date and improve their online offering.
The Solution
The CogWorks designed and developed a bespoke Microsoft.NET web
application that integrated seamlessly with the internal Agria
policy management system. To achieve maximum security a 'Web
Service' based architecture was used as it minimises the exposure
of the internal system to the public facing web, reducing the risk
of security attacks.

The Results
The website was delivered to the HSBC on-line team, on-time and
within budget, allowing the content to be added to the landing
pages on the main HSBC website in good time for launch.
Sitting between HSBC and Agria, The CogWorks were best placed to
manage the whole project, from conception to completion ensuring
that all lines of communication between the large number of
interested parties were clear and well managed throughout.
